Manhattan Beach

Donald Judd’s minimalist sculpture guided the design of this oceanfront house composed of three concrete cubes, each offset from the other, that progress down a slope toward the beach. Custom interior wood finishes and furniture heighten the impact of the minimal, monochromatic materials of exposed concrete and steel.
